Notice of Works - Fitzgerald Esplanade, Innisfail

Council will be conducting geotechnical investigations from Tuesday 5 to Wednesday 6 March 2024 along Fitzgerald Esplanade. These investigations will accurately define the existing subsurface material properties for soil assessment and management plans. This data will be used for the design and construction of the Callendar Park Drainage Upgrade Project.

Council wishes to advise works will be undertaken between 7am to 5pm. A temporary road closure will be in place on Tuesday 5 March with the road to re-open at the conclusion of bitumen reinstatement. Temporary disruptions to this area include potential noise pollution due to machinery, dust and traffic flow. We request the public observe and obey traffic controllers and signs advising the changes to normal traffic/pedestrian conditions and follow any directions.
