Cassowary Coast Regional Council administers and maintains three cemeteries within the Cassowary Coast. as well as two Indigenous Cemeteries within our region as well.
All cemeteries are open from dawn to dusk, 7 days a week.

Arranging a funeral can be an overwhelming experience for many people. To arrange a funeral, you should contact a Funeral Director who can assist you to arrange all aspects of the funeral including burial, cremation and memorialisation options. Your Funeral Director will work closely with our cemeteries staff to make the necessary burial arrangements, on your behalf.

In addition, if you wish to place a plaque or carry out headstone / monumental works the associated application is required: Form 7.25 Erection of a Memorial, Vault, Columbarium or Full Grave Slab
