Innisfail Aquatic Centre Management Changeover in January
The Innisfail Aquatic Centre (Memorial Baths) will transition to new management on 8 January 2025, with Marlin Coast Swimming and Fitness taking over operations.
To allow for a smooth changeover, the pool will be closed from 8 to 10 January 2025 to allow for staff training and inductions, as well as pool maintenance. The pool will reopen Saturday 11 January 2025.
Marlin Coast Swimming and Fitness brings extensive experience, currently managing seven pools across Far North Queensland, from Dimbulah to Babinda.
While Cassowary Coast Regional Council will work closely with the new operators to minimise disruptions, there may be some temporary impacts on services and programs, including adjusted operating hours until 31 May 2025.
Operating hours from next Monday 16/12/2025 to 31/05/2025 are as follows:

Council would like to extend our gratitude to Grimsey’s Aquatics for their dedicated management of Innisfail Pool. Grimsey’s will continue their management of the Mission Beach and Tully Aquatic Centre.
