Cassowary Coast Regional Council will introduce a fee for bi-annual paper rate notices starting 1 July 2025.
A $2.25 (GST inclusive) fee will apply to cover the additional costs of issuing physical rate notices.
You can avoid this charge by switching to paperless billing and receiving your rate notice via email. Opting for email notifications not only saves you money but also ensures you never miss a due date.
Now you can win $500 off your rates by signing up to receive your rate notices by email. Five ratepayers registered for paperless notices by 30 June 2025 will be awarded $500 credits towards their July to December 2025 rate notice.
The competition is open to residents of the Cassowary Coast Regional Council area. Participants must be registered for paperless billing by 30 June 2025 to qualify.
