Locality Sign Vandalism Damage

Council's Infrastructure teams over the past few months have been installing new locality signs across the region. These signs are designed to improve navigation and enhance the community’s sense of place.

Unfortunately, due to wilful damage, Council has removed a third of the locality signs for repairs due to vandalism. The affected locations include:

• Lower Cowley

• Daradgee

• Kurrimine Beach

The damage to these signs is not only frustrating but incurs additional expenses for Council, diverting resources that could be better used to maintain and improve other community services.

Council ask that the community to remain mindful of the importance of these signs and the value they bring to the region. Your support in helping protect our infrastructure is greatly appreciated.
