WEEKEND UPDATE - TRANSFER STATIONS

With heavy rain expected over the weekend, Murray Upper and Hull Heads Transfer Stations will be closed. 

Need to dispose of waste over the weekend? 

Alternative sites remain open at Mission Beach, Tully and Innisfail with Council prioritising resources at these locations.

The Cardwell Transfer Station also remains closed due to flood impacts but a Temporary Waste Transfer Station at the Pump Track carpark on Brasenose Street for Cardwell residents impacted by flooding to safely dispose of damaged household items and disaster-related debris to ensure homes are safe, habitable, and accessible.

This temporary waste transfer station is ONLY for disaster related items from the North and Far North Tropical Low, not general waste.
