Goondi Bend Foothpath Works

Council wishes to advise footpath works along the Bruce Highway Goondi Bend have commenced.
Council will install a 2 metre wide concrete footpath from Blackwood Street traffic lights to Leichardt Street along the boundary of the Goondi Sport fields. Council will also upgrade the pedestrian stairs at the Bruce Highway traffic lights.
This project has been fully funded by the Cassowary Coast Regional Council.
It is anticipated the works will be completed by the start of December 2023, weather permitting.
