ONLY use water for drinking and hygiene purposes and refrain from using water for non-essential activities. The region has seen very heavy rainfall and this has resulted in blockages at several of our water infrastructure intakes. This has restricted water supply to the Cassowary Coast. Flood affected roads and restricted access to our water infrastructure will cause delays in Council teams being able to attend to these blockages.
