NORTH DAVIDSON ROAD - CULVERT WORKS COMMENCING

Council will be undertaking the Culvert Replacement Program across the region and has identified a section of North Davidson Road as a key priority area within this Program.

Council looks to commence the works next week, weather permitting. The project delivery timeframe for the culvert replacement is expected to take four to six weeks to construct, weather and site conditions permitting.

Whilst works are being undertaken a side track will be in place for traffic movement for the duration of works. For the construction of the temporary side track, North Davidson Road will be closed from Tuesday 20 to Friday 23 February 2024. Council asks residents and landowners to detour via Tully-George Road as per the sketch below.

North Davidson Road will be re-opened on Saturday 24 February 2024 with temporary access via the constructed side track with changed traffic conditions.

Council asks residents to plan their journey accordingly and apologises for any inconvenience experienced during construction.
