New waste collection trucks will collect your bins next week

From Monday 5 August, Cassowary Coast Regional Council welcomes our new kerbside waste collection contractor, JJ’s Waste & Recycling.
Here’s what you need to know:
- New Look Trucks: You’ll notice our new trucks around town.
- Separate Collection: On your wet and dry collection weeks, bins will now be emptied separately by different trucks.
- Same days / different times: Your bin collection days will be the same, however the collection time may vary. We recommend bins go on the kerbside the evening prior for collection, or at the very latest 6am on the day.
We would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to Cleanaway for their many years of dedicated service. If you get a chance, please give your truck driver a wave in gratitude this week.
