NOTICE OF TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF MOUNT TYSON WALKING TRACK

Cassowary Coast Regional Council (CCRC) wishes to advise that the Mount Tyson Walking Track will be closed while Council’s Contractors demolish and remove the redundant Water Reservoir as part of the scope of works for the Brannigan Street Reticulation Main Upgrade. Works are scheduled between Monday 14 October – Monday 21 October 2024. Council will endeavour to minimise possible temporary impacts with:

  • Temporary impacts to pedestrian access.
  •  Access to kerbside parking;
  • Clearing or pruning of Vegetation
  • Construction noise

For the safety of workers, pedestrians and road users, changed traffic conditions will be in place while the works are carried out.
