Kirrama Range Road Culvert Replacement

Cassowary Coast Regional Council wishes to advise that a section of Kirrama Range Road will be closed from 21 August 2023 to late September 2023 to remove and replace aged road infrastructure.

Council will be replacing a collapsed culvert along Kirrama Range Road approximately 14 kilometres from the main gate entrance. Once complete, the project will improve road safety and expand the infrastructure life expectancy by about 100 years.

Road users may experience increased traffic flow before construction work commences due to the transportation of equipment and materials.
