Learn The Skills Of The Track At Warrina Lakes Pump Track

Council will be holding a FREE ride skill coaching session at Innisfail Warrina Lakes Pump Track designed for youth between 12-17 years of age to teach fundamental bike skills.

The session will be held on Saturday 25 November, 8am to 11am and is available for anyone within the age group to sign up.

Ride Fundamentals is a Cairns based coaching service who have qualified coaches facilitating the sessions and will provide instruction and coaching to the attendees on mountain biking skills with a keen focus on fun and safety.

Ride Fundamental Skills Clinics are designed for the age group and provide social interaction during the clinic and via the group APP. New skills and tricks including jumping, pumping, and wheelies are practiced making riding the pump track a whole lot more fun.

Youth attending the session will need to bring:

  • A well working bike which has well working, brakes, tyres and gears (if applicable).
  • Must bring an Australian Standard Bike Helmet.
  • Recommended to wear shoes with grip, comfortable protective clothes (long sleeves or long pants) and gloves and knee pads (are recommended but not necessary).
  • A snack, water bottle and sun safe hat.
