Caring for Caravan Parks & Camping Grounds

To protect our regions please ensure it you look after it to preserve its natural beauty and biodiversity. You can do this by:

  • Protecting the wildlife: Please do not disturb plants and animals in these areas. Be careful where you step or set up your tent, and don’t leave food out or feed the animals.
  • Respecting indigenous heritage and culture. Cultural sites are significant to Indigenous communities and represent thousands of years of living history. These places are fragile and cannot be replaced, so please admire them without touching anything.
  • Respect historical landmarks. Take time to enjoy them but be sure not to damage these important pieces of history.
  • Use fire safely. Always make sure to completely extinguish your fire with water before leaving. Don’t collect firewood from the park - bring your own from a clean source.
  • Leave no rubbish. Take your rubbish with you when you leave, don’t bury it.
