Council operations to return in full - Thurs 14 Dec

Council has received the green light to recommence full operations from tomorrow (Thursday 14 December) following advice from Cassowary Coast Local Disaster Management Group.

Kerbside bin collections will recommence from 6am Thursday 14 December with additional services scheduled to collect those that were missed due to cyclone closures.  All Cassowary Coast residents who missed a bin collection are asked to present both wet and dry bins to the kerb from 6am and leave them on the kerb until a Cleanaway truck has had a chance to service the street.

Waste Transfer Stations – Stoters Hill and Tully will be open for normal operating hours.  Bells Creek, Mission Beach, Hull Heads, Cardwell and Murray Upper to open Friday 15 December.

Customer Service Centres will be open for normal trading hours.

Cassowary Coast Libraries will be open for normal trading hours.

And, the December Local Government Meeting has been rescheduled to 10:30am Friday 15 December.
