Cassowary Coast Regional Council wishes to advise the commencement of the Midgenoo Road culvert renewal on 18 February 2025. The culvert location is adjacent to 103 Midgenoo Road, Midgenoo.

Full road closures will be in place to allow works from 18 February 2025 through to 4 March 2025, weather permitting. A traffic guidance scheme will be implemented throughout the duration of the works. Please expect delays on this route with potential blocking of one lane either side of full road closure dates.

All local traffic will be detoured via Old Tully Road, Midgenoo – Feluga Road and Feluga Road for the closure period.

This project will involve excavation of the existing culverts, with new upgraded culvert capacities and renew the integrity of the structures.

The project is anticipated to conclude by 22 March 2025, pending favorable site and weather conditions.

FUNDED

Construction is fully funded by the Cassowary Coast Regional Council.

For the safety of workers and road users, changed traffic conditions will be in place while the works are carried out.
