Apply Now for Up To $5000 in Regional Arts Funding!
Local artists and community organisations are invited to apply for a grant of up to $5000 through the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) to support arts and culture activities on the Cassowary Coast.
Round 2 of the Major RADF grant round will be accepting applications until Sunday 20 April 2025.
RADF supports creative and collaborative projects and events bring vibrancy to Cassowary Coast. The funding can provide support for professional and emerging artists to develop and deliver their unique arts and culture initiatives to the community.
Councillor Trudy Tschui, a strong supporter of community arts and culture initiatives funded through RADF, is encouraging local artists and organisations to apply for this grant round.
“The Regional Arts Development Fund is a fantastic opportunity for our local artists and creative organisations to bring their ideas to life. This funding helps grow our vibrant arts scene, supports emerging talent, and connects our community through creative expression. I encourage all eligible artists and groups to apply and make the most of this opportunity.”
Minister for Education and the Arts John-Paul Langbroek said the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) has an impressive track record of supporting local arts and cultural programs across Queensland communities.
“For 34 years, Arts Queensland has partnered with regional councils to co-invest in local arts initiatives that generate jobs, community engagement and help boost local economies. The Crisafulli Government will continue to support these vital collaborations.”
To be eligible for this grant, the applicant must support the following criteria:
- Support local artists and arts and cultural activity to deliver value for local communities.
- Provide opportunities for local communities to participate in arts and cultural activities.
- Invest in locally determined priorities delivered through arts and cultural activity.
- Contribute towards current government priorities.
