STATEMENT IN RELATION TO ORGANISATIONAL RESTRUCTURE PROPOSAL

Quote attributed to a Council spokesperson:

A special meeting of Council was held this morning to consider a report regarding a review of the organisation structure.

A majority of Councillors voted to accept the recommendations and content of the report. 

A consultation period of 21 days now begins with affected employees and Unions regarding the proposed changes.  The period of consultation will close at 4:30 pm on 10 June 2020.

Management are in the process of speaking with and providing support to all employees commencing today.
