September 13, 2022- CARDWELL FOOTPATH RENEWAL WORKS

A section of pathway located on Brasenose St, Cardwell is being renewed with works commenced from Monday 12 September.

The upgrade will install a new concrete pathway, directly located outside the post office, and will remove existing pavers to improve safety and allow a smoother, more level surface for pathway users.

To ensure the safety of workers and path users, pedestrian diversions will be required around the working area and signs will be in place to advise. Access to the post office will be maintained during the works. Works are expected to be completed within one week, weather and site conditions permitting.

Any delays due to wet weather or other conditions will be posted on Council’s website and Facebook page.
