Cassowary Coast Libraries Revised Operating Hours

Cassowary Coast Libraries will have revised operating hours from 27 March 2023 across the region.

Tully, Mission Beach, and Innisfail branches have the following operating hours:

Monday: 10am-5pm

Tuesday – Friday: 9am-5pm

Saturday: 9am-12pm

Sunday: Closed

 

Cardwell operating hours vary slightly, with the branch being fully closed on Friday:

Monday: 10-5pm

Tuesday 9am-1pm / 2pm-5pm

Wednesday and Thursday: 9am-5pm

Friday: CLOSED

Saturday: 9am-12pm

Sunday: Closed

The Library Team analysed data showing community visitation across several months, and believe these hours best suit the needs of our community. The biggest change to the operating hours is in Cardwell. The branch will be closed for lunch on Tuesday and fully closed on Fridays. Mission Beach and Innisfail libraries will also no longer stay open until 6:00pm on Thursday afternoons, and Innisfail will open at 9:00am Tuesdays to Thursdays, to align with our other three branches.

The revised operating hours will be effective as of the 27 March 2023.
