TREE REMOVAL – ETTY BAY

Council would like to advise the community of the tree removal works at Etty Bay. Council has engaged an external arborist to complete a tree report on the large Calophyllum Tree at Etty Bay. Upon inspection, the tree has been deemed in poor health and poses an immediate risk to beach users.
As a part of Council’s Tree Management Policy, Council will replant two trees of the same species at this location. Council will also be recovering the usable timber for future community projects.
These works are scheduled to commence 30 May 2023.
