Notice of Works - Sewage Main Rising Works - Ash to Charles Street, Innisfail

The Cassowary Coast Regional Council wishes to inform residents that there may be temporary interruptions to property access due to the upgrade of the sewage rising main. The project will extend from Charles Street to Ash Street, passing through the QR Rail Yards, the Golf Course, and around the back of the Race Course.

Works commencing Tuesday, 6 August will begin on the Ash Street end and are due for completion on 30 November 2024 (weather permitting).

Temporary impacts may include the following:

- Temporary impacts to traffic

- Disruptions at the Golf course

- Construction noise;

- Disruption to driveway access;

Council will aim to minimise impacts on residents and businesses by working closely with contractors to ensure that access is maintained as much as possible and that disruptions are kept to a minimum.
