Cassowary Coast Regional Council Christmas Closure

Council wishes to advise that Customer Service Centres, Libraries, and Depots will close for the Christmas period from Saturday, 21 December 2024, and will re-open with usual opening hours returning on Monday, 6 January 2025.

There will be no disruption to kerbside waste collection during this period.

Please note that Waste Transfer Stations and landfills will be closed on Christmas Day, 25 December 2024.

Waste Transfer Stations opening hours for Boxing Day and News Years Day:

26th December – Boxing Day

Stoters Hill/Innisfail: 9 am to 4pm

Tully: 9am to 1pm  

Bells Creek: 10am to 2pm

Mission Beach: 9am to 1pm

1st January – New Years Day

Stoters Hill/Innisfail: 9 am to 4pm

Tully: 9am to 1pm

Mission Beach: 9am to 1pm

Cardwell: 10am to 2pm
