ROUND 1 2024-25 RADF SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS ANNOUNCED
Cassowary Coast Regional Council is pleased to announce the successful applicants for Round 1 of the 2024-2025 Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), Chiara Shamperi and Tully Arts and Cultural Precinct auspiced by Tully Support Centre.
Chiara's project, Shedding Layers, will offer three full-day creative art workshops for disadvantaged women of all ages, cultures, and languages, fostering new networks and expressions of art.
The Tully Arts and Cultural Precinct Inc., supported by the Tully Support Centre, will deliver the 2025 Tully Sugar Week Arts Project. This project will provide tuition to guide local artists in uncovering, illustrating, and sharing historical social aspects of the local sugar industry, which will be showcased at Tully Sugar Week in May 2025
These projects align with Council's Corporate Plan objectives, which are focused on enhancing liveability, pride, and connectivity within the Cassowary Coast region. Through initiatives like the RADF, Council supports community access to arts, culture, and events, contributing to a vibrant and inclusive regional character.
The Regional Art Development Fund is a Partnership between the Queensland Government and Cassowary Coast Regional Council.
