Closure of Hamilton Road Bridge

Cassowary Coast Regional Council would like to advise residents that Hamilton Road Bridge at Kennedy (CARRUCHAN) will be closed to all traffic from Monday 21 October 2024 due to emergent works requiring removal of the existing bridge.

Temporary culvert work will be completed to reinstate access to local traffic, eliminating the need to implement bridge load limits.

Access during works via Meacham Road/ Kennedy Creek Road detour.

Once works are complete road will be re-opened to traffic on Wednesday 30 October 2024.
